Anybody reading the Winter Soldier comic? Because I just read issue #14 and I'm ready to cry.

I've been through a lot of heartbreak with comic books. You grow a tough skin when you've been reading them since you're 7 years old, and dead still actually meant dead once a upon a time.

So you'd think I wouldn't be this heartbroken over this, right?

See the problem is, I always like the sidekick. I've always had a thing for Bucky even before I officially fell in love with the character, never mind how quickly Natasha/Bucky became an OTP.

So like, ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH THE MIND WIPE? I get that it's supposed to hurt for Bucky. I get it. I really do. But Natasha gets kidnapped, mind controlled, and when we get her back, you take away the only thing that was real and good for her?

I mean, why does a woman have to be violated for a man to be a hero/suffer. Doesn't the woman get a say in this?

I'm honestly holding back tears. It probably doesn't help that I RP Bucky these days, and I'm in his head right now, and this is terrible. This is broken and wounded and killing me to think about him going through this.

All I want to read a fic where somebody fixes this. Because I just can't.
